Right rear tire sticks out more than left rear??

On my truck, the right rear tire sticks out about 3-4 mm more than the left rear.

Wondering if anyone else has noticed this? Have looked on Cars and Bids at some other trucks as they apparently require a lot of high quality images. From what I see, seems like it could be the same on other trucks as well.

Most may not notice it since the tires are inward of the edge of the fenders. But, I first noticed it when I put on my custom wheels, then again when I swapped to the factory 21 inch wheels. The right rear lines up perfectly with the fender while the left rear tire is definitely inward of the fender.

3mm is pretty minor, yes. You have to really look at it to see it. I ended up measuring it with a straight edge to confirm.

Hard to capture it in a photo, but this is the best I can come up with. First photo is my truck. Second photo are photos of another truck I pulled from Cars and Bids. Appears to be the same as mine.

Edit: Continued looking at more trucks on Cars and Bids and appears that they're all the same. Right rear tires are closely line up with the fenders while the left rears are slightly inward of the fenders. At least all that I've looked at that had appropriate photos to clearly show this, all appeared the same.

Is the height to the wheel arch the same on both sides? My passenger side is slightly lower, which would make it stick out more.

Well, you made me go out and measure!! LOL.

I get what you're saying, if one side is lower, then the wheel/tire would camber inward more on the one that's lower.

But just checked my truck. Right side is at 35 7/8" and the left rear is at 35 13/16", so basically the same with a 1/16th variance. Certainly not enough to make a 3-4 mm difference in how far the far sticks out. Just a guess, but maybe if one side was down about an inch, then it might camber the wheel enough to result in 3-4 mm difference at the top. But that much of a difference would mean the truck looks a bit odd with one side sitting a full inch lower than the other.
Having now seen more cars on cars and bids that appear to show the same thing as mine, beginning to wonder if this is just the way they are? Intentionally or not? From Rivian?

Will be interesting to hear from others to see if they discover the same thing?

Actually, lower "should" bring the tire inward at the top. If it's higher, it would push the top of the wheel outward. The wheels tilt inward when you lower the truck from the highest setting to th lowest setting. being an independent rear suspension, means the result would be the same if just one corner of the truck were to be lowered

You got me curious. I will have to go test it. With "most" vehicles. Lowering it brings the top inward (more camber) and raising it straightens out the tires (less camber). Not sure it's relevant to the question of this thread as, theoretically, raising and lower it should impact both sides equally, so there will still be a variance in terms of the right side sticking out further than the left side. But am now curious if the Rivian is different than most vehicles and the camber responds differently than most vehicles when raising and lowering
