Drive Cam - Issues - Anyone else??

Curious if anyone is having issues with their external storage device not being able to connect to set up the Drive Cam.

Every time I put the 1G, USB-C thumbdrive into the slot, the center screen says it is being formatted..... then..the screen flashes to the Owners Guid main page.

Have you tried different storage? Also 1G - not sure what you mean by that; is that a brand?

It sounds like your device may not be supported. Did you try both USB ports in the center console? When I initial setup mine it would not recognize my SD drive so I tried the second port and it worked. I don’t recall which one works but give it a shot.

I just checked for recordings earlier today and realized nothing had been recorded. I need to figure out what’s going on.

I’d switch to a solid state drive. I tried USB drive at first but it was flaky. When I switched it’s worked flawlessly.

That’s exactly what it was. I removed the SD and was able to view the videos.

Got a thumb drive to work flawlessly. It struggled at initial install, but after a soft reset it's been working flawlessly.
Isn't a thumb drive a SSD, just a small one?
