Hi there, I've been on the RS1 list with a confirmed order since Nov 2021. Waiting on a compass yellow adventure package car with Ocean interior. I have heard through a friend who got called to Richmond for a test drive that the dealership in Richmond has a lot of yellow inventory sitting on the lot and they are eager for cars to be taken before the end of Q2. We are ready to go! The only hitch is I cannot figure out how to get in touch with the Richmond folks. You just get routed through the national service and our delivery location is currrently set as NY. We have requested access to the Shop, which we don't yet know if we will get access to but when/if we do, it will most likely be for cars in the NY area. We can manage that but I would hop in the car and drive to VA today if I could find our car.

The only time I’ve seen it happen this way is through a guide. No reason not to ask politely, if you do online chat or telephone, try the other other maybe. Good luck!

Anyone have screenshots available for the shop? Sounds like we have a good selection and should have a solid Q2 EOQ delivery numbers. Do we still see around 20% launch edition availability in the shop?

I doubled down on Friday on my RIVN shares based on how many cars I see the SC and factory pumping out.

Lol. I already bought the vehicle and about to go for a drive around town to shake it down.

I am more interested on the availability stats as an investor instead of a customer. I don't remember seeing 100+ R1S in the shop during April or May. So it's music to my ears to see the ramp up happen month after month.

As a customer, I know if you hang around for 30 days, you can find your ideal build in the shop.

As an investor, I would like to see the amount of launch editions availability drop by 5% every month.

Weirdly I got this email yesterday telling me I had access to the R1S shop. But when I went in all I see is R1Ts and when I messaged them about it they said that it may have been a
mistake. Has this happened to anyone else out of curiosity? Thanks!

Got the same email. I asked CS and they said maybe none were available, which doesn’t jive with what others in this thread are seeing. I also asked why I can’t flyer by R1T and R1S and they said I should be able to. So I don’t think it’s a mistake.
Maybe whoever flips that virtual switch is off this weekend and Monday I’ll see some S’s

Hello, this is what worked for me and hopefully for you as well. Call in customer service to request for shop access and most importantly mention them that you are ready to take delivery and flexible with spec options.

While I was waiting to pick mine I did see CY OC Adventure Package build available on Friday (6/16). So if you get shop access and wait around for couple days then you will most likely find your match.

During my 2 days of shop access between 5/15 & 5/16, I noticed max 3 LE available (max for 3-4hours) at any point of time and one of them was constant throughout. Total number of max build available I have seen was around 80+.
Not sure if this is what you are looking for but anyways sharing my observations.

Questions for those of you with R1S shop access. How often does the Launch Edition with Green come in stock? I was leaning towards the El cap (my original PO) but I now have access and it seems like the Launch Edition is a good deal with 22" brights at no extra charge. Should I snag one up if it's available now or take a chance and try to wait 4-6 months? I ask that as I don't really need the vehicle for a little while. Also, for those who got the launch edition green are you happy with that exterior colour?

I was an el cap pre-order as well and grabbed a launch green on the 22's. Very happy with my decision! The color is great

Thanks for that! It was a really hard decision to make but seems hard to not pass up the fact that you get 22 brights for free and the launch green is a unique colour!

Hundreds of R1S in the shop is a bit concerning to me.

Is anyone getting their specific build automatically matched anymore? Or is the only way to get an R1S now through the shop?

If only ... I've been watching the shop for ~50 days and haven't seen a single R1S with vegan leather accents, much less my exact configuration. But, hey, with only 43 days left in my delivery window, Rivian will probably build my R1S tomorrow. Or next week. But definitely-maybe sometime in July.

As of 8:20 pm CDT, I saw 79 R1S's in my Shop. And 11 of those were Launch Editions.
