I've installed the extreme harness and the xnor-Rx branch using the default CD210 driving model. The good news, it's taking curves so much better, it's a big difference. It can also monitor blind spots which is nice. The longitudinal control of monitoring slower vehicles in front of me is also much more tame, which is very welcomed. The bad news, MADS stopped working, even though I have it enabled on Sunnylink. Toggling between following distances on the steering wheel is also not working, and the default following distance is huge. I realized I had it set to "relaxed" so I changed it to "standard" but it didn't make a difference. It also won't take a 90 degree turn for me. I have dynamic experimental enabled but not experimental, does that make a difference? Do I need to switch to the adventurepilot branch for these settings? Or xnor-dev? This has been pretty confusing. I'm just looking to take maximal advantage of this new harness' abilities. I also have janka's mount if that makes a difference.
Oh I did try changing driving models which didn't make a difference so it seems like a Sunnylink or branch issue to me.

Can you let us know what link you used to install? MADS should work on any sunnypilot fork, so that's a bit confusing. You also said toggling follow distance on the wheel isn't working, which makes me think you don't have alpha Longitudinal enabled so you're just using the Rivian's default ACC.

Hi Gerry. Thanks for the reply. Sorry I wasn't clear. I used the installer/comma.ai/xnor-tech/rx link to install. In sunnylink it states my current branch is "rx" which I assume means it installed correctly. Maybe I should start over and reinstall.
When I couldn't toggle I also assumed alpha logitudinal wasn't enabled but it is enabled, I just double checked.

RX should be good, actually. It was just updated last week. If you can post a link to a route where ryou are experiencing these issues, that would be helpful.

Sorry I'm not sure what you mean by "link to a route".

Thanks for the tutorial. I'm not sure I tried using MADS or toggle follow distances in my recent drives since they haven't been working, I'll have to get out and get some data later. I'm not sure what it will tell you, though. Nothing happens when I flick up the stalk once the comma is engaged, and nothing happens when I turn the right wheel. These both worked before installing the new harness.

Have you checked whether or not alpha longitudinal is activated on the device itself not on the dashboard?

It is enabled on the device. Buttt.... I'm not sure if I had it enabled a few days ago because MADS is now working lol, on a quick test drive I just did. Maybe it was working before and I'm a numbskull. It's quite possible. The auto turning worked with one turn only and was poor, It was nothing like your videos, but it was a tiny sample size so I'll have to do a lot more testing and report back. I realize I haven't done much driving recently so I'll get out there. Thanks as always for your replies, Gerry.

You definitely have to get a feel for how to handle turns. It will take a little bit, and even then it's not 100% - at least not yet.
