Not sure about Amazon vans, or even if Amazon vans will be repaired at Rivian facilities.Has anyone come across info on a service center (or even mobile service) in Denver? With Amazon testing the Rivian vans in Den it seems to me they need some sort of service options already.
Rivian looks to be building a repair garage at 3893 Steele Street in Denver. Some quotes from the public information about the permit applications:
3893 N Steele St - Rivian Repair Garage - Change of Use - Tenant Improvement - Suite 1203
Tenant improvement of an existing building to change use to an automotive repair garage (21,219 sf) and a business area (3,820 sf).
Renovation of existing warehouse and change of use for new repair garage and office space. New roof framing for new RTUs. New concrete ramp for autos, concrete stairs, metal handrails, and structural steel headers/jambs for openings in existing walls.
Clearly label where the Auto sales will occur. If they are occurring in the provided parking, those spaces can not be counted towards the required parking.
A4) Sheet G011: The Customer Area is utilizing a 15 net occupant load factor (unconcentrated tables & chairs), resulting in an occupant load greater than 50. Therefore, wouldn’t this room be considered a Group A-3 Occupancy?
A5) Sheet G011: The Service & Delivery Office occupant load has been calculated at 9 occupants. However, 12 seats are being indicated. Therefore, either a concentrated OLF should be used (50 gross) -or- seat count should be used to determine the total occupants for this space.
A7) Sheet A102: Clarify the intent of the graphic below. If a vehicle is parked here permanently, it will be obstructing access to the proposed exit.
