Great to see the Denver SC so full. It was starting to get quiet on this thread and I've been wondering if deliveries had slowed down.
I saw my first R1S in the wild last week, on I-25 in C-Springs. That will keep me fired up as I enter the final 12 months of my wait :) (the home stretch??).

Great to see the Denver SC so full. It was starting to get quiet on this thread and I've been wondering if deliveries had slowed down.
I saw my first R1S in the wild last week, on I-25 in C-Springs. That will keep me fired up as I enter the final 12 months of my wait :) (the home stretch??).
I can confirm with 100+ Rivian on the lot, Denver is about to have a lot more on the road very very soon!!

Oh boy! I lost access to the R1 Shop last week and my guide finally found out why. Sounds like my truck may be in production at the moment and VIN assignment is imminent! Digging into the graphql data on my config page I'd noticed a status change to ordered, pending fulfillment, and an actual vehicle ID present (but not a VIN yet). Current delivery window is April/May, but I'd imagine a mid-late March delivery could be possible if it doesn't get hung up in transport logistics hell.

I've found it's been to under promise and over deliver with Rivian. :) I've been waiting almost a month after my vehicle went into production, with shipping, and my vehicle is now at the service center but I cannot schedule delivery. If it still needs to be produced, without a VIN assigned, I would say best case you are looking at early April...JMO!

I've found it's been to under promise and over deliver with Rivian. :) I've been waiting almost a month after my vehicle went into production, with shipping, and my vehicle is now at the service center but I cannot schedule delivery. If it still needs to be produced, without a VIN assigned, I would say best case you are looking at early April...JMO!
I've seen a couple folks were able to get delivery scheduled through their guide when the website didn't allow it, including a friend of mine.

Good point. I talked to mine yesterday and sent him photos of my truck in the lot, which I'm sure made him really happy since he had yet to confirm that it actually arrived. I'll ask him today if I can schedule a delivery yet...he's very responsive.

Congrats! I never had shop access but 2 weeks ago my guide told me he was seeing a VIN for me now, although I still don't see it in my account. I agree with your assessment of delivery possibilities with that. I'm expecting no sooner than end of March. He told me awhile back that rail from Normal to Denver is typically a 2 week delay, and given the number of trucks at the SC I would bet it's longer than normal to get through the final local QC checks.

100% agree. I couldn't see any available times, but my Guide could, and scheduled me.

I just asked. Cannot schedule yet. Truck is still in inspection and not open to schedule delivery quite yet...but it's sitting right there!

Hey DT...I was talking to one of the SC Techs a while back and he indicated that they had few if any issues during the recall because they do a comprehensive check of each vehicle before delivery (including a check of all fasteners under and around the truck). Take it for what it's worth but mine has been solid and had no issues during the recall. This might account a bit for the extra time before delivery. Sucks to wait but may end up being a good thing in the end...

When I see some of the threads about terrible panel gaps or other obvious issues that got past factory QC and local service center QC, I wonder how the hell that happens. But I have also noticed that I have yet to see anything that bad from anyone who took delivery from the Denver SC. I’m sure they aren’t perfect either, but I do feel like we are lucky to have one of the better service centers in the country. ??

I would agree with that and my guide also confirmed that while Denver is currently short-staffed, they are quick to turnaround and one of the better service centers in the country as well.
