Picking up this Tuesday morning!! The date is set. The service center reached out via text this morning and gave me a bunch of times to schedule.

Impressive how many vehicles are at the service center, and how many they are delivering around here. I am just used to seeing them so often, I was visiting family on the east coast and didn't see a single one in a two week trip, even staying near a service center.

Also becoming the most popular non-tesla EV charging at A basin when I am there, almost always another one shows up at some point in the day.

It's interesting but I rarely see any up north where I live (Broomfield) - I might see 1 per day, if I am lucky? I think there are more down south. There are 2 in the neighborhoods next to me, but that's it. I look forward to getting front parking spots at a-Basin and Eldora and Winter Park very soon!

I'm very much looking forward to having a "unique" car again - when I first bought my Tesla, it was cool to have something a bit different from everyone else but now they are EVERYWHERE. I look forward to having a Rivian that not everyone knows about.

I might need therapy. I also enjoy driving something unique, but I am pretty antisocial so I will probably get annoyed if I’m asked about it all the time. I might get arrested if someone asks me if it’s a Cybertruck.

There's one other guy up here in Vail with a R1T, and although we don't know each other we wave like little kids each time we pass on the road. The same thing happened with my Fisker Karma. I had it for ten years and there was always one other in the valley, but he was a part-timer and rarely drove it.

Whelp apparently my truck isn’t taking the latest update and they have to order a part so my delivery is pushed from this Tuesday to next Saturday….ARGH!
