If anything, could be a low effort way to boost Canadian sales. But, is there enough service capacity? so they don't wind up shooting themselves in the foot after the cars are sold? Rhetorical.
Rivian definitely has some traction in BC, but the reality of Canada is low population, large area. It's a difficult market for Rivian unfortunately despite it being a very "on brand" location.

I would like a roaring fire on the main screen…you know…to set the mood.
That would be nice... just you and your Rivian....

I guess that is my point, I think OP is wanting the option to have a Christmas theme be available to those who want it, and if it offends people they have the option to turn it off. I do not know if the team that works on the halloween theme is a seasonal team that is only tasked with the halloween theme, but an argument can be made that said team could also work on a Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa theme. Much like how we have the option to change the lock sounds (bird, owl, crow) for halloween, users would have the option of Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Off.

The truth of the matter is one cannot please everyone.
Many people don’t believe and celebrate all these holidays that exist (that are plastered all over) but that doesn’t stop them from going to the store or watching TV or taking advantage of the sales or even eating a holiday cookie. They can just choose not to participate. You’re right, we can’t please everyone but if it’s som’n most people want then give it to them and give the others options if possible.

I mean, yes to some extent. Christmas that is 'widely celebrated' at least in corporate America isn't really the Christian celebration of Christmas. Having the option to turn it off allows those who do not celebrate it, to not "have it shoven down their throats". Much like how some stations play Christmas music, people can switch to another station (assuming people still listen to the radio).

So I guess we agree that is people want it then Rivian should consider it and provide said feature.
