It's possible I'm being thick; the objective is that the truck shouldn't charge between 4pm-7pm every day (peak TOU for Tesla Electric). Yesterday it happened to be plugged in, and it continued to charge after 4pm. Am I missing something?

I’m seeing the same thing. Also set the location for the schedule and it still didn’t seem to matter.

Is it just happening on Friday? Mine has an issue with not following the schedule but only on Friday’s.

I'll check. Since is was set to daily, Rivian's generous interpretation of a weekend shouldn't matter.

Any updates on this?
I haven’t seen the schedule do anything for home charging. Time and weekdays selected, location set (though the underlying map is always blank with a pin in a blue circle.)
When I plug in in the evening during peak hours - schedule says not to charge - it starts charging right away.
Any thoughts?

Same. I forgot to post the other day, but I tried on a Wednesday (to rule out the 'weekend starts on Friday' theory!), and the schedule did nothing to prevent charging during peak hours.

It's annoying, not so much that we pay more to charge during those hours, but we also sell surplus energy back to the grid, and unload the battery if the wholesale rate gets above 30c, so it's potently a very expensive time to charge.

If you are only seeing the pin on the map then pinch in to zoom out repeatedly until you can see anything other than solid blue. You’re probably off the coast of Africa (that’s where my pin was) or somewhere nearby. Once you can see where you are, you should be able to set your true home location and things should work as you expect.

Any chance your location pin is in a featureless area? If so… try this.

edit: If you’re seeing this for Location it indicates a problem

That was it! I had tried zooming out but must not have gone far enough... This is where the schedule was set once I zoomed out far enough:

At any rate, I'll try again tonight or tomorrow and report back.
Thank you @SoCal Rob !

You’re welcome! I went through the same issue so I know how frustrating it is. It has worked perfectly for me since I set my real location. I think this is discussed in other threads, but it can be hard to find the right answer. I think need a wiki for stuff like this.

I have no idea why they set this at the default location and why there is no ā€œSet as current locationā€ type of button.

@AO_Pete - I just realized that your lower screen shot doesn’t show location at all and the fact that we need to scroll isn’t obvious when the panels end at the bottom of the screen. If you don’t see Location go further down the page beyond the Time and Amperage to get to Location.

@SoCal Rob You're right! Although the truck knows the home location (since it stays unlocked), the Charging bit of the app had the default location off the coast of Africa. After much pinching and dragging, the pin is more or less on top of the house. Will test later!

This just fixed a problem that has been plaguing me, y'all are AWESOME.

Also, took me a minute to figure out that the pin doesn't move within the map area, you have to drag the map to align to the pin.

Overall, not a UI/UX win for Rivian on this one.
