So in the delivery checklist they have you link your Rivian account with ChargePoint... I've gone through this flow a few times now... nothing seems to happen. I just get dumped into the horrible ChargePoint map. It hasn't added a vehicle to my account or anything, hasn't even filtered the map for Rivians... it still comes up with my in-laws Hyundai selected. Is there nothing visible for this linkage until I'm in the car? Or has it done something in the past?

Mine didn’t seem to work until I actually used the charger the first time. Even then I had to go back and forth between the ChargePoint app and the charger. Kept getting a message saying I could not charge ‘at this time’. Finally it worked and After that all good When I use a ChargePoint

Being 68' years old and not a geek I assumed the difficulty at charging stations was my fault. Now I have seen "Kids" having same issues, so it seems the charging world is not developed and we are all being Beta tested. Another issue is the chargers are too often just not maintained. The app help line is waiting to be told there is a problem, then they learn how to fix that on "Your nickel". (Beta).
To my self interest, I require 3 locations for charging in my path before I go to a destination. I stop at the first one, then if it works, I move forward. If not, same till I charge up. 3 times a charm?

Did you sign up on the ChargePoint app first and add your Rivian VIN and the info to the ChargePoint site? After your ChargePoint account is done then you can merge that account to your Rivian app.

I’ve had a charge point account for years, have a couple vehicles in it, and a cash balance. I don’t see anywhere to enter a VIN, and if I try to add a R1T there are 4 different options, one of which looks to be based on very early rumors that the max pack would be 180kWh.

OK, a friend tipped me off on the secret to making this work: log OUT of ChargePoint in the browser, then hit the link from the Rivian account page, which will prompt you to log into ChargePoint again, then after you log in it will redirect a couple times and you'l eventually land back at the Rivian page where it will show you have linked your accounts. Now if you go to ChargePoint directly it will ask you to log in again and once you do that you will see the linked account in ChargePoint's Connections list. Note however that it does not appear to add your Rivian to the list of vehicles in ChargePoint, if you want that you'll need to do it by hand. Since there's very little benefit to doing that I'm probably not going to bother. If they ever had a route planning feature or something, maybe I would then.

I have the integration set up with my Rivian/Chargepoint account, but what does it actually do if not auto-charge? Is it just so you can instantiate a session from Rivian app instead of Chargepoint? Why wouldn't I use Chargepoint app + NFC to start a session?

After I did the integration I pulled up to a ChargePoint, tapped my phone, plugged in and it started charging. Seemed really simple but it was my first charge while I waited for Qmerit to install my home charger.

That is the way the charge point app works if you have the ChargePoint card in your apple wallet. Linking Rivian to CP doesn't seem to offer any benefit unless it does true Plug and Charge. Has anyone verified that?

Any confirmation on this? I pulled up to a chargepoint today, plugged in and nothing happened other than a spinning timer saying something like starting season then errored out. I Eventually just tapped my credit card and started charging that way.
