Can't View Guard Cameras in App

I have observed that the cameras do not load when I am connected to VPN, is mandated by Microsoft Defender due to work policies. If I disable the VPN the cameras function properly, but to switch between camera views causes them to fail after two or changes.

I'm not here to argue, but clicking "play" twice - once to wake up the vehicle and once to start the streaming - is hardly "complex troubleshooting".

Also, we're not paying any extra for this.

Except that doesn't do it... And Connect+ definitely costs money...

Connect+ is the data plan. Not the cost for Gear Guard functionality. Stop being dense. You could've fixed your issue by now if you'd spent more time performing basic "troubleshooting" (e.g.: restart phone, clear cache, etc.) and less time arguing.

Sorry, I have better things to do with what little time I have remaining than suffer someone who just wants to complain about everything. Blocked.

I’m having trouble still to this day and it’s been since two updates back. Once in a while I can view the cameras when I’m out and about but not at home. The only thing I haven’t tried it formatting the ssd I’m using.

So I’m sitting here messing with it and I tried about 5 times from the main screen on the app to access the cameras (both on WiFi and on cellular) and I couldn’t get it to work.

then I attempted to go to the truck soft reset, hard reset, disconnect my phone and reconnect Bluetooth, disconnect and reconnect as main driver key yet it still didn’t work.

I formatted my hard drive and attempted to access the cameras again from inside the house and nothing.

LAST, I opened the gear guard part of the app (not the widget at the main screen) and somehow it kinda freaked out and was probably in the middle of waking up because the screen opened the camera angles window twice and then magically it somehow started to work.

my guess….. maybe it either need to be awake first OR we need to attempt to open it a bunch of times at the gear guard screen and not the widget at the main screen.
