CA EV Rebate?

I was looking around to see if my truck is eligible for the CA Ev rebate. Still not in the list. Any other CA residents here know anything about that?

They do not qualify, the GVWR cutoff is 8500, R1S and R1T are 8532.

They will qualify for the carpool stickers.

The maximum to be eligible would be 8,500 pounds and the R1 vehicles have a rating of 8,532 pounds.

It's interesting that Colorado is opposite, you get a bit more rebate with a heavier truck.

We miss the weight cutoff by a little but the price cutoff makes it moot:

CVRP-eligible Cars (per EPA Vehicle Class) have a maximum manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $45,000*. CVRP-eligible SUVs, trucks, and vans (per EPA Vehicle Class) have a maximum manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $60,000.

Yeah as of February 24th the Rivian is too expensive for the rebate. (unless Rivian pulls a Tesla and advertises a base model that's $59,999 but never actually delivers one)

If you paid to have a charger installed you are likely eligible for a small rebate. I got one from DWP when I installed my Tesla charger.
