Card uses NFC and should work without Bluetooth. Also, the app can connect to the vehicle over LTE if both have reception.

Are you tapping the card on the driver's door handle to unlock? It's not a proximity function like your phone or the fob, it needs to be tapped to the vehicle.

Several updates ago my card did work, but I haven't used it since then. Yes, I've tried tapping it on the driver's door handle, but I'm not sure if I have exactly the right spot.

Maybe it's not a Bluetooth problem, maybe your 12v is dead. It sounds like you're asking the wrong question.

Can I even drive with no 12V? My BT is now working.

No, but since you couldn't get in your car how would you know?
Also, 12V could be failing - low voltage causes weird problems.
