Backup camera freezes right after startup

I haven't seen this mentioned elsewhere.

One or two software updates ago, my backup camera started hanging for a second or two when I go into reverse right after waking the vehicle from sleep.

Vehicle asleep --> get in, buckle, reverse --> backup camera works fine for a few seconds --> camera freezes for a couple seconds --> camera back to normal

Anyone else have this issue? It definitely has me paying closer attention to my mirrors.

Yes. Noticed it for the first time yesterday. Froze for a few seconds, then back to normal.

yep all the time, just drive through, it's not just the camera, when you do a reset or you do a software update, the time it takes to load each screen is 30-60 seconds. Let's say you update, then you take your first drive, and want to load the different drive modes to switch, it'll take 30-60 seconds to load, so it's only loading that on demand, their startup protocol doesn't have everything load up post update / post restart of the system

Mine freezes anytime the display changes from day to night or night to day mode. And I don't remember it doing that when I got the truck in March. So basically it freezes as I enter and leave my garage.

Interesting, I've only noticed it when leaving my garage. That would largely coincide with the times when my truck goes to sleep.

Same with both R1T and S… freezes temporarily when leaving garage after sleep cycle

I noticed it when I'm slowly creeping to park inside my garage. The front camera freezes a few seconds as I park and the sensors are beeping.
