I was there last weekend for the soft opening, they said they would be getting Gen2 vehicles s00n but no plans for R2/3 until closer to launch. There was a R1S upstairs, and a R1T skateboard downstairs (dual). They did have two quad motors on a display which was cool. New 22” aero wheels and new color swatches (Gen2) were on display -

I stopped by… The space is impressive. Beautifully designed. Thoughtful.

The opening event wasn’t as impressive this morning. A little shallow, sparse, and not as dynamic as I’d hoped. Rivian has done such a good job with branding and really, marketing as a whole… My expectations were probably a little unrealistic.

Rivian did an amazing job bringing the community and owners together. I’m glad I was able to check out Gen 2 in person and see the difference between interiors and trim.

They have a roof top concert tonight and Father’s Day woodworking event tomorrow.

This company continues to amaze me.

I hope shorts give me some more discounts so I can accumulate more Rivian stock.

I really like what I see with the Gen 2 and can envision what the R2 will deliver for the brand.
