App says a Window open

Gen 1 R1T. App says rear passenger window open but it’s not. Try to close via app and says cannot. Open and close from in vehicle still shows open in app. Did a hard reset and same issue. Anyone else have issue? I did have in service recently to repair trip piece in same window. Not sure if related.

Reset window range limits, mine does this occasionally. Roll window all the way down keep holding switch down for a few seconds then all the way holding the switch up for a few seconds too. Don’t know specifics but that helps.

Sounds like your window limits need to be reset as @Kelvn mentioned. The procedure is in the owners Manuel and it's pretty easy to follow. I had to do mine recently a few times and I THINK it finally stopped the error when I did the procedure on both the driver door and the guilty door switches

Thus happened to me before. Didn’t know how to reset the window range limit so got a mobile appointment and git it fixed.
I don’t know why they have to have a mobile appointment for it if they can just tell you how to do it yourself.

The instructions in the manual don't actually do anything. You need to go into the ride menu and run the window calibration from there. Search YouTube for how to get into ride menu if you don't know how to get there.

I've had sporadic problems when the phone APP says the windows are down, but they're actually not. Usually, restarting the APP solves this problem... or trying to close the windows via the APP and letting it reset itself. YMMV.

Thanks for all the suggestions. None have worked unfortunately. Will try to get to Ride Menu as haven’t tried that. Luckily the window goes up so not a huge deal.
