Maybe I'm over-thinking this, but has anyone changed out the phone for the Owner? Is it a big deal or do you just delete the Bluetooth connection and pair the new one? My concern is that when we picked it up the "Owner" was a big deal (which bugs my wife because it's her truck but my phone was paired first :D ). I am already having phone anxiety because I've grown tired of having a phone case and am leaving iPhone for the dark side of Android so that I can get a Razr+ flip phone. Before I do this I am making sure it will do everything my iPhone does now.

Like when I buy a new iPhone? It wasn’t a problem last Autumn. I don’t actually remember the process beyond knowing I didn’t have any problem. Probably logged into the Rivian app, and paired Bluetooth, and deleted the old phone in the vehicle. I think Phone As A Key (PAAK) worked without any additional steps, if I recall correctly

I haven’t transferred my truck to a new owner because you would have to pry it from my cold dead fingers, or I have decided to stop driving due to age alone, or health issues.

I replaced my phone a couple of months after getting my R1S. It was a pretty simple process.

Make sure you have a physical key before removing the phone from your access list.

"Ownership" is tied to the account, not the device. Log in to the new device, remove the old one, and done.

I upgraded from and iPhone 11 to 14 pro a few months after taking delivery. Just signed in to the Rivian app, paired the new phone and carried on.

Side note, the iPhone 11 worked better with the built-in wireless charger since it was not a MagSafe device.

This all sounds like it won't be an issue. Thanks everyone for the input.
