Honestly, I've been thinking about adding it to my appointment. I'm nearing 60k miles so if they find something now, it's likely covered under warranty. Better to spend $200 knowing I'm safe than thousands in spring. Is any inspection worth even $200? Not the free one and prob not the one where they look at all four corners and go yep no leaks.

One way to help out other Rivian owners would be to call Rivian on Monday, and then report back what their explanation is on why the incorrect inspection was performed. It sounds like the wrong order was put in prior to service and the tech just did what was on the order. When I have my vehicle in at Rivian, they sit down and go over the service agenda/plan while they set up the loaner/rental vehicle. Your situation is a good example of where Rivian can probably improve with an itemized list of service items if your inspection was not listed in your app - they do require you to sign the "estimate" prior to starting the service, usually sent the a few days before the appt.Ranting is one of the purposes of an online forum. It usually turns into a meaningful discussion. Not sure why Donald went sideways with it. I didn't post for a solution; I posted my experience in hopes that others won't get their time wasted like I did. And no, no inspection is worth $200. But I usually follow the manufactures guidelines, and the 22,500 seemed like it was one I should follow since everything after and before (except the brake fluid flush) is a 7500 basic one
Soooo did they actually do the Comprehensive to your vehicle? Or only rotation and forgot to remove Comprehensive? This
That is pretty much my conclusion. Talked to rep, Rivian confirmed it was their mistake. I asked him why a tech would add a tire rotation arbitrarily for tires that he noted on the inspection that needed to be replaced (already had an appt this week for new Michelins). He could not give me an answer as to why they add the tire rotation for anyone that asks for an inspection.
Per Houston rep prices below. He also did confirm that they do offer a "comprehensive still" and doesn't know why it as removed from the maintenance schedule online and on the app.
Multi Point Inspection - $160
Tire rotation add on - $40
Tire Rotation only - $60
Comprehensive - $240
They did the multi-point for $160 and added the $40 tire rotation for a total of $200. He said that what I ordered was not added correctly by the Rivian rep and they also then failed to resend the updated order for signature and didn't have my wife review and sign the updated one upon drop off either.Soooo did they actually do the Comprehensive to your vehicle? Or only rotation and forgot to remove Comprehensive?
This is correct and I was also surprised by this. I had one scheduled and removed it from my WO.No, it's gone. There used to be an entirely separate 22,500 service interval with a comprehensive inspection. This was in addition to the normal 7,500 interval.
See this thread, where I documented this:

But that's costs Rivian money, just let the warranty lapse andAND if the vehicle is out of warranty and needs a non covered repair it could also save the customer money (by catching the problem early).
Take the money and buy a beer man. Life’s too short.3 Days later, Rivian Houston finally called back with 2 options. They can do a refund of $200 but it will take 10 weeks for the refund to process
Or they can do a mobile appointment and do the extra steps in the comprehensive (even though those steps call for the vehicle to be put up on a lift) and can throw in free wiper blades.
