Mine still pulls slightly right after a SC alignment where they acknowledged my previous “pulls right” complaint.
However, I’ve noticed if I drive in the left lane on a highway, the truck will pull LEFT.
This leads me to believe that the truck, because of its weight being 2X any vehicle I’ve ever had, just wants to follow the crown of the road. It wants to fall down the slope gradient.
Not saying anyone is wrong - my first complaint was obviously valid for them to do the work. I was just surprised I could make it go the other direction in the left lane. It still doesn’t drive as straight as my rental I had the first 5 weeks of SC visits.
An update from my previous conclusion. Two things have changed in my truck:this
1) different tires than OEM - so any alignment issues I had initially would have worn on those tires. (Cause unknown)
2) my front sub frame had a cracked weld and Rivian replaced it with what they called a “gen2 subframe”.
These both happened at 14k tires and 20k subframe. The subframe replacement did require my third alignment
Truck drives very straight now. Like straight enough I don’t do tests in lanes and pay any attention to crowning anymore.
Lots of factors. Just adding my experience.
