Mine still pulls slightly right after a SC alignment where they acknowledged my previous “pulls right” complaint.

However, I’ve noticed if I drive in the left lane on a highway, the truck will pull LEFT.

This leads me to believe that the truck, because of its weight being 2X any vehicle I’ve ever had, just wants to follow the crown of the road. It wants to fall down the slope gradient.

Not saying anyone is wrong - my first complaint was obviously valid for them to do the work. I was just surprised I could make it go the other direction in the left lane. It still doesn’t drive as straight as my rental I had the first 5 weeks of SC visits.
An update from my previous conclusion. Two things have changed in my truck:
1) different tires than OEM - so any alignment issues I had initially would have worn on those tires. (Cause unknown)
2) my front sub frame had a cracked weld and Rivian replaced it with what they called a “gen2 subframe”.

These both happened at 14k tires and 20k subframe. The subframe replacement did require my third alignment

Truck drives very straight now. Like straight enough I don’t do tests in lanes and pay any attention to crowning anymore.

Lots of factors. Just adding my experience.

Do you have a 2022? I heard they updated the sub frame to molded at some point. Mine was built in early 2024.

I will pay for the full inspection next SC for the 15,000 mile service.

I do. Mid 9000s VIN.
Mine pulls to the right and it appeared to start after a tire rotation. It does seem to be related to the crowning of the road. On a flat road it does go pretty straight. I also think this vehicle is very sensitive to road conditions. Some vehicles feel completely disconnected from the road and just float by with small adjustments to the steering wheel essentially making no change in the direction. The Rivian steering is ultra responsive.

Very common. They will fix it, definitely requires a service center visit. Due it sooner than later to avoid unnecessary wear on your tires.
They didn't fix mine the first time I complained and it was in the service shop. I hate having to hold the steering wheel to the left like 3/4" to drive straight.

I am in the same boat as you. Mine severely pulled to the left when I first got it. They fixed it it and instead of going left, it went right. They just tried to fix it, and it is still pulling right. At this point, I've given up on trying to get it fixed and just be annoyed holding the steering wheel counterclockwise. I had a Gen 1 loaner and it drove straight as an arrow, so I know it is possible.

Mine pulls to the left no matter the crown of the road. The steering wheel is perfectly straight, but I have to hold it there to go straight. If I let go of the wheel, the steering wheel starts slowly turning left. I have no idea how far it will go.

If I have the ADAS on, it will hold it straight too, but every now and then will pop itself out of ADAS for not apparent reason.

I did notice that when I back out of my driveway, and put it into drive, that the steering wheel will not self center, like every other vehicle I have ever had, it will continue to turn till its hard over.

The issue with the steering not aligning straight when pulling out is probably a product of 'Drive By Wire' and the fact there is zero physical connection. My issue is if I hold the steering wheel straight the car slowly starts drifting to the right. I can also watch ADAS bouncing the wheel from left to right just to steer straight on its own. The RIT I had as a loaner did not have the same issues.
