ARE they offering the 7500 as a mobile service?

I didn't see clarity on that. Great if true!
I really hope so. I can't imagine with distance to service centers for many owner, that the customer wants to make that round trip every 7500 miles. I'd have to go there 3 times a year....2 hours each way....until a closer one opens. Not to mention I have now technically missed about 5 official service intervals. I have been doing tire rotations and filling washer bottle (and look at brake pad thickness) and that is it.

Austin SC called yesterday and offered to convert my 7500 inspection to a mobile appointment since I'm a few hours away, plus a tire rotation. They're supposed to be stopping by any moment now

They want to charge me $120 for the inspection, on top of the $60 for the rotation (which I don't need). The $120 inspection seems to be four tire pressure measurements.

I had an appointment scheduled about a month ago, but cancelled because it interfered with a out of town trip. My truck had about 15,000 miles without a problem, but I thought it might be a good idea to just have it checked out while I have the time.

Now, I’m scheduled ( 18,300 miles) for my 7,500 mile appointment this Wednesday at the SC in Portland, Oregon. After signing the 6-page “Service Work Order Terms And Conditions” online, as required prior to the appointment, Rivian lists the "Comprehensive Inspection\ labor Code 983273013 \ 1.3 hr+ \ $260.00."

If everything goes well, I'll probably skip the next suggested checkpoint at 22,500 miles. Take note that the SC suggested I

Rivian also explained that they wanted me to be sure to bring my portable charger. Said they wanted to clean the charging pins and install new seals at no charge, even though I have had no problems using it.

As I understand the service process, if there is anything else you want to have done besides the checkpoint inspection, let them know before you sign the Service Work Order. They will then estimate the additional cost, and put it on the work order for you to sign prior to your appointment.

Oh...and be sure to schedule your appointment as early as you can. The service center here was booked about a month out for both of my appointment times.

They also asked if I could plan on leaving the vehicle, and they would call me when it was ready, because they couldn't guarantee it next day. They are really busy, so I'll report back on how long it took to get my truck back.

at my 15k inspection they found a failure in some part of the hydraulics which probably saved me from being stranded down the road. repaired under warranty during same SC visit. Well worth the $100 inspection fee.

I scheduled a mobile service visit a while back to drop off a couple tires (including the spare kit, which I didn't really need but couldn't de-select it). They added this to my visit. It's a pack of seals literally no bigger than a quarter. Took the guy less than 30 seconds to pop them in with a small tool. If anyone was wondering what this is, LOL.
