Does anyone use and have a recommendation for an extension cable for wall charger

Same! I just plug the mobile charger into it when I’m at work. It delivers 7-8 kWh and about 15 miles per hour. I charge using the Rivian wall charger when at home.

Wall charger? Pay the electrician to put a new SOW cable in of the appropriate length, without any extensions.

So we aren’t supposed to use a 220V extension cord with the portable charger? The Rivian employee who delivered my vehicle said I could! I was thinking of doing that temporarily (unplug the washing machine and plug in the car) at our cabin until I can get an electrician there to install the outlet close to where I would park.

I would tolerate temporary use of 240v extensions. Ie an Airbnb. I made a 14-50 extension out of SOOW cable.

Permanently at home... never.

Maybe just cheap accessories.
I received the 25’ version of this cord today. Cord seems good, but due to the poorly designed carry strap(releases when not under tension)and sending a carry bag (quality of reusable grocery bag) that even the 25’ cord won’t fit in, I am questioning the quality of the cord itself. Might send it all back.

I had the same need. I purchased a custom length extension cable from the TeslaTap website at UMC-J1772 Store . Very heavy duty. They can also sell you a replacement for the charger cable of custom length. They are the only people I would buy an extension cable or replacement like this from.

I would avoid Lectron and other cheap Amazon products.

The cables are custom order, you have to call them. I think I got a 25 footer. Very well made.
