I don’t think the R2 or R3 will have air suspension. I’m not sure about the R3X. I somehow doubt it.

I also love that livery. Very retro.

I love this vehicle. Do you know if every Rivian space has an R2 and R3? My closest Rivian space is in Indiana which is 2+ hours away.

Not every space has R2 or R3/R3X on display. There's only a few (maybe one of each?) that are used for public display, and the get shipped around the country when they are going to appear somewhere.

These are still technically prototypes, and so they are one-offs and very expensive to build.

Ah, that’s what I thought. I was hoping that they might have made a few more just for display purposes.

At least we know that the R2 validation builds are out there doing their thing. Let’s hope things keep going according to plan.

Rivian seriously needs to build some R3Xs in Normal, Illinois, before the GA factory opens. They should slow down building the more expensive models to meet R2/R3x production.

That’s not a bad idea. Ninety percent of Tesla’s sales are the Model 3 and Y. At one point they thought they’d stop making the S and X altogether. I feel like Rivian is in a similar boat.

If the Georgia plant gets delayed they should just keep expanding in Normal. They could even use the Lakes to export Rivians to Europe. They really want to become a global EV company, just like VW wants to get into the US truck market.
