I saw a delivery truck with 3 of these loaded on it two weeks ago while driving a few blocks from the West Sacramento Service Center. They must have gotten extra early access since the vans were already wrapped (painted?) for them ahead of this launch.

I bet they did! This one was driving around delivering food so it must have been early release. Seems unlikely though as i suspect they’ve already worked out the kinks with Amazon.

I would be first in line for one of these. I would probably have the conversion company add a hydrogen fuel cell to it for long distance adventuring in California.

One issue is that these vans are FWD only, which isn't great. I wonder if it's easy to hack on a rear motor; will the drivetrain software automatically pick it up?
