I finished the design and fabrication for my R1T "Tunnel Shuttle " !!.
The gear tunnel concept is great, and now the access to all that volume is seamless.


Single action release built into handle

Pass through design for access from both tunnel doors

Tray formed from a sheet of heavy gauge aluminum and powder coated

Integrated 115VAC and USB Charger ports

140lb weight capacity (evenly distributed)

Large diameter permanently lubricated rollers
63 lbs. complete

That looks great. You would have some takers if you could produce decent quantities at a reasonable price. did you make yours just for personal use, or is it a prototype for production?

Thanks all.
I'm working on the details now to see how far I can get the cost down. I design industrial grade systems (robotic work cells etc), so all the materials are on the high end. I do all the machining, but sheet metal and powder coating I would have to do in some reasonable quantity to get.the cost down. "One offs" are expensive.
