No spare, living on the edge… of the road. The trail was only 20 minutes from my friends house and probably within a mile parallel to the road.Looks like a lot of fun! Did you have a full-sized spare in the back or were you living on the edge without one? Looking at the terrain it doesn't look like there were a lot of sharp rocks that would have ripped open a sidewall, but you never know. What about other self-extraction equipment if, for example, you parked the R1S on one of those baked ridges with three wheels in the air?
Like your style, playing the long game. Happy wife …. happy life.I admire all of you who use the R1S off road...It's such an amazing vehicle but my wife wouldn't allow me to take "her truck" anywhere it could be scratched or pinstriped (including Costco). Maybe in 5-6 years when we buy our Gen5 R1S and I inherit our Gen1...
To be fair, OP was actually on roads it seems lol. So you could play the dirt road card.I admire all of you who use the R1S off road...It's such an amazing vehicle but my wife wouldn't allow me to take "her truck" anywhere it could be scratched or pinstriped (including Costco). Maybe in 5-6 years when we buy our Gen5 R1S and I inherit our Gen1...
