It’s something to pass the time when sitting in it for 30 minutes charging.

You also don’t need touchscreens, Bluetooth, GPS, cruise control, 800hp, etc…

Personally, I don't use the games. Movies/Youtube, a LOT!

My wife has a Tesla M3 and she's a Real State Agent here in Texas. Texas is a BIG STATE as y'all know and she normally has lots of showings during weekends. Since I work full time during the week, that limits the time we spend together quite a while, so in order to have time together to share, chat and (yeah, why not?) fight P), I often drive her around her showings during the weekend. This Sunday ALONE I drove 290miles for her

While I'm waiting for her inside the car, I abuse YouTube and Formula1 TV (Over web browser in the Tesla). So yeah... Pretty handy for me

You're right no one asked for touchscreens, but it reduces manufacturing time and inventory so it was pushed on the market.

Actually, you do need Bluetooth or the phone-as-a-key wouldn't work, PaaK is also another way to reduce cost. Not having BT would lock music access behind a paywall, the same way they moving towards with "Cruise Control"
