Anyone have this service performed yet? Neither of my vehicles are exceptionally loud so I personally won't bother.

This is excellent. It looks like it moves the compressor from the firewall to the top of the strut brace. Am I reading it right?

Great post! Actually a bit too great. Am I the only one that starts thinking there's a problem as soon as they read a post like this? Before reading this, I was quite content. Now, I'm thinking "well the ac does sound a bit loud, perhaps the whole things needs to be replaced."

Technical service bulletins really are sometimes non-safety related failures everyone will experience, but I fully believe in this situation that there is variance in how the pumps are manufactured that can cause some of them to be worse than others, but the vast majority of them to be within manufacturing tolerance, where they won't fail until well outside of warranty.

Noisy doesn't mean there's something wrong. Air compressors are all noisy, would you think there is something wrong with every single one? Kids are noisy. Would you think they're broken? Wait... I take that back.

Best timing ever. Mine is going in tomorrow to sc for a couple other things but I have complained of ac vibration in the past so will bring it up again and ask for this TSB to be performed.

I was joking. Yes, my mother would definitely agree that her kids were noisy and "broken."

To be serious for a brief moment-I do notice more noise when I remote start the ac. It also seems to "strain" when the circulation option is on. Once the car gets going I don't notice the noise that much. That could be the ac getting quite or my 20AT tyres getting louder.

You're definitely not alone. I've had my R1T since May (3500mi) and I've got a short list of things I'm going to submit to the SC on my first visit. "Noisy AC that I can feel through the pedals on full blast" is on my list, but I wouldn't have thought it bothersome enough to make an appointment for it. Now I might.

They won't have the parts unless you scheduled your appointment for the TSB. Don't be surprised if they tell you it'll be weeks if you want the TSB done instead.

I’ll at least talk to them and figure out a timeline. Worth at least mentioning.

I think that's what they did to my truck and it's so much better now.

This is great, thank you for sharing. After the last update, mine has been going all out every 3 or 4 minutes. The vibration can be felt in the floor and the noise is obnoxious! Its crazy I had never heard or felt it before the last update. But now it happens so often it's embarrassing.

Thanks again for posting, I will definitely be sharing this with the SC in an effort to get a fix.
