Apologies if this was already known but I just saw confirmation that the R3 will be both lower price and smaller than the R2. R3 will have 5" inch shorter wheelbase). Also, the R3X is wider than the R3.

I just wish we could find out the dimensions of the R3. I would really love a small, compact city EV like the Honda-E but for the US.

Going off of the quote in this interview, the R3 wheelbase is 5 inches shorter than the R2's 115.6", so around 110". That doesn't seem all that compact.

So essentially, the base model R2 is going to be a single-motor, non all-wheel drive SUV with a published range of less than 270 miles. There certainly will be a market for this, though, but I wonder if they'll sell more of that model or a two-motor all-wheel drive with 300 miles.

Remember the length will be less than 180” - it is an efficient design. R2 is same length as a CRV but 10” greater wheelbase

R3 wheelbase is 5" (127 mm) shorter than the R2. With this info, you should be able to arrive at a good guess.
