You're fortunate that it still works. Mine lasted less than one month. It sounded like it would fail at any moment and it did.

My OG is much louder and harsher than this, and really "jerks" on each slate while closing. But it's been working that way since delivery and still working over a year later. I also religiously slide grease it.

It's been over a year since I had a working power cover. From what I remember, the original made a lot of clacking noise as it was closing. With the new one, I can hear what sounds like brushes as it's retracting.

It's been over a year since I had a working power cover. From what I remember, the original made a lot of clacking noise as it was closing. With the new one, I can hear what sounds like brushes as it's retracting.
I hear the same clacking in the videos I do my working original. ?

You need to rub your belly clockwise, pat your head and hop in place at the same time.

It sounds like a mess of metal panels stacking into a tin box. Without a full redesign, it doesn't seem like much is going to change that.
