Rivian Laguna Beach Space Opens! - First Real Life Photos

These images were taken from the event last night. Rivian has done a great job restoring and transforming the old theater to a wonderful community event/Rivian venue.

The company had most of their executive team along with many employees. It was a 3 hour event with open bar and appetizers. I know there is another morning welcome for owners too.

Stock price will recover at some point. It's trading at a book value currently so patience is your friend. I'm in a same boat.

Stopped by in the morning, saw Drew(sp?) who was my First Mile host and also my delivery specialist at Costa Mesa. Told me a while back that he wanted to transfer over to Laguna when it opens and was happy to see that it happened for him.

Also saw Scott Lunt, aka Rivian Dad on Youtube. Nabbed a photo with Tony C before leaving. Great family-friendly event. Gave away a few Matchbox R1Ts to some kids. Just got wind that they are releasing them in the launch green color so will be on the lookout for them, wish Mattel would whip up an R1S.

While I love this we need service centers in the NorthEast badly. Brooklyn servicing all Rivians from NY, NJ, CT and Eastern PA (including Amazon Vans) just doesn't work. I love my R1S but would like to see the Edison NJ center open that has been talked about for more than a year now.

I fully understand the nightmare of permitting and staffing but we need it.
