The way the email is worded I assume the cost at each charger will be dependent on the local power companies. That should be fun…

I mean, no, we haven’t all had a good run of free charging…

edit to add: I will be using a RAN station for the first time in the next week. I will end up using 2-3 stations in “early November.” If they flip the switch Nov 1, I’ll probably get 1 free charge. If they flip it Nov 15, which I would put as mid-November, not early, I’ll get at most 3-4 free charges.

Totally agree on this gas a business they need to make money, especially in this environment. And also increase foot print as a company

They should have a gratis amount of charging (either time or kWH) associated with each Rivian purchase.

Circle K seems to do something like 30 days free at their new chargers. I’d like Rivian to do 6 months for new owners and 30 days for new sites.

I understand some of the problems with unlimited free charging, and I understand the long-term business need for them to charge us, so I’m not going to be upset with this change… unless their pricing is high. Especially at first, they should be on the very cheap end for Rivian owners. Charge other EVs an arm and a leg though!

I didn't get this email. I wonder if it's because they know that with the nearest RAN location 600 mi away the price at RAN stations is not very relevant.
