2025.46 Update Teased: Customizable Driver Display for Gen 1 and Gen 2

Personally I’d like a minimalist feature. Just a dim speedo and maybe a battery level. Everything else off. Been on enough roadtrips that all the dash lighting becomes just overbearing.

I'd also enjoy this. They have already programmed it too but use it as a failsafe. Was lovely for a brief moment when all our infotainment was broken and we got a basic dash for a few days.

Rivian suggested they'd be rolling out the gen2 l2 charging bug fix next week. I imagine the .46 update will still be after that.

I just got an app update that mentions all of the phone as a key improvements -- so I'm guessing the vehicles will get updated soon.

I have a very small hope that using NFC and wallet on my Garmin watch I will be able to unlock the truck. Probably won't work or they would have advertised it.

I don't see how to add anything to my garmin watch that isn't a credit card. Fenix 6 here.

I checked the Garmin app and the wallet associated with my Fenix 8 Pro, and it also seems to only allow me to add credit cards. As you said, I think it would need to capability to add a key and then have the ability to use the key on the watch.

Bubble popped. (It was a small bubble, because I really didn't think it was going to work anyway.)

A Saab-style Night Panel is a top request The failsafe proves the graphics are already there they just need to link it to a button

The new map for the driver display is great. I would like an option for the left hand tile (with tire pressures, etc) to still have an overview map option to glance at the whole route and see traffic info without also having the map up on the center screen, but that would just be icing.
