Will report back in an hour. I'm particularly interested in the Reverse throttle/brake mapping.

My reverse pedal is very much improved and even some in forward.
The truck has always been a dream to drive, and now even better.

Not sure improved but definitely different, it will take a day or two to adjust to it.

Before the update if you lifted off the accelerator in reverse it stopped, made it super easy to put in a specific place, now if you lift it drifts back some and does not immediately stop.

I preferred the previous mapping but I‘ll just adjust to the new configuration.

Gen1 Quad, post .51 update, I'm unable to turn off the headlights when parked and inside the cabin. They come back on automatically after a couple of seconds. Anyone else notice this behavior?

I just noticed this yesterday after update. I was parked and turned off the lights. Then went to cast a show. After a little bit I noticed the lights were on again. I swore I turned them off. Turned off again and then they stayed off.
After about 30 minutes of casting though, infotainment crashed and rebooted. Then after that it crashed and just stayed in a strange black screen state and PRND only on driver display.

I noticed this after the update prior. It would jump all over or even turn off after having been on

Reverse feels slightly smoother, but I'll know for sure tonight when I back into the garage. It is certainly a little more clunky in transition from reverse to drive, but that might be because I have a problem with my d/s drive unit and/or half shaft. lol

Reverse feels much better. I no longer feel like I'm on a ride at Universal.

Not necessarily. 4Runners have one and their rear window opens. I’m hoping the R2 will be the same.

I had a 2000 Pathfinder with a rear liftgate opening window a window washer. If Nissan figured it out 25 years ago, Rivian should be able to figure it out now.

Wait am I gonna be the first person wondering where my priority updates are?! Jkjk I don’t care…. Much.

Availability to download and install are separate. Vehicle downloads in background (without notification to you or permission from you). If you don't realize it's downloading and go for a drive, that download is interrupted/paused. And if network connection is poor, or not available, at later time it could be paused indefinitely—happened to me last time and I had to request for it to be pushed again. Last OTA was also a bigger file I think.

You will not get remote notification to install update until it is fully downloaded in the background. Connect+ subscription does get you push priority. But within that priority, there is likely a deployment order too (rules of which we do not know). Then, among subscribers the next order is to vehicles that are connected to WiFi (faster download than Connect+). I am a subscriber, but vehicle is not on WiFi when parked. June '23 build. I got notification to install early this AM.

I do soft rest after every OTA. I only do hard reset when soft reset doesn't resolve issue, or it's clearly not a malfunction related to infotainment system.
