Anyone notice the fan on more during Level 2 charging with the 2022.11.2 update?

I think the fan is on more in general, L2 charging or not, after the update.

It would be awesome if we could have some sort of poll that you could then update with whether or not you've gotten the update yet. I see everyone posting they've gotten the latest and it feels like I'm the last one out, but I'm sure many are in the same boat.

doesn't hurt to contact them and see if perhaps there’s an issue with your car not getting the update.

Don’t be too excited to do this update it bricked mine.

OK rivian engineer was able to get me up and going again. Just in case anybody was wondering how to restart your tuck you hold the left depad on the steering wheel and the hazard lights. The screen will pop up restarting then you can let them go.

after that they push the firmware again and it took.

I spoke with CS and they said the updates are being rolled out in batches. Given the number of deliveries, must be really small batches.

It makes sense that they're very cautious at this early stage. Especially with at least the one member whose car was bricked after the update. Better a bit late than too early!

2022.11.2 and no bricking, great success.

Now a mobile tech is here replacing my steering wheel with the wrinkle in it and attempting to adjust this door that has about a 1% chance of success.

Tesla OTA is like this too. Updates are sent to specific batch of EVs at a time. Most likely based on built dates. So, not every EV get their OTA at the same time. This will also lessen the LTE network 'congestion'.

Makes sense. You wouldn’t want to set all R1Ts on fire at once due to a booboo in the code. And as an owner, you definitely don’t want to be on the first batch.

I think there is a bug with gear guard in this software version and i ended up turning it off. Gear guard use to be pretty accurate but now it seems to be detecting ANY movement included shadows from trees blowing in the wind.

My truck had over 600 videos in 4 hours and most of them I checked didn't have anything in them but shadows moving.
