Wow, those sipes down the middle seem like winter tires. I've been pretty happy with the stock Pirelli MS tires in their first snow and ice, but wouldn't mind going down to 20" tires for winter if I ever put the Michellin PS5 on the 22" rims.

And? How are they??
The ride is great. so much better than the stock Pirellis. I also think they look great. I don’t feel like I gave up much on the aesthetics with the Defenders, and whatever little it is, is totally worth it for the better ride.

Could you take a full vehicle side view, zoomed out a bit?

It is a lot of bare sidewall, which isn’t my style. No surprise they ride well, I think these will be the best riding tire for Rivian’s. They take bumps well?

I think this is the winner tire. Looking forward to putting these on in a few mos.

Well I have the Michelin Defender LTX tires on my Rivian. I chose a 285/60R/20 and they fit perfectly on my Speedline wheels. Speed is off 1 MPH at 70. I only drive in Sport Mode and lowest setting and these don't rub at all.
I have over 8000 miles on them so far, and I expect to get between 60,000 to 70,000 miles on them.
They are super comfortable and I drive my Rivian over my new 2034 Audi S5 Cabrio every day.

Yea, they just don't look as cool, but I gotta go with performance over the look. We had the defenders on several explorers and they are SO good from a performance perspective.

Was this Costco? Running at 50psi? I don't like the tire rack installers near me so keep waiting for Costco to have them on the website, I hate calling.

Yup, they look good. A little shorter sidewall would have been nice in the R1 design and I love the toothy look of the platinum and Pirellis, but you can just tell these perform. You can't have it all

Let us know what kind of real world efficiency you get. These should be better than the Pirelli 20 ATs. I'm assuming they ride really smooth!

Ride is indeed really smooth but I don’t have a pulse on the efficiency yet. At worse, they are on par with the stock Pirellis but I’d imagine they’ll be slightly better.
