CongratulationsWhen I saw a picture of Launch Green and the 20” darks just off the line, I was sold except for the extra cost. After a couple months and more videos with them, I updated the configuration and went for it.
I should learn more on Monday after my Guide intro call about my R1S delivery timeline.
This video also helped in my decision.
Is that your truck? It’s just a personal choice, but I would describe the black 20” more accurately as black chrome. If you catch them at a certain angle, they reflect brighter direct light and have a mirror effect.
The front wheel here almost captures the reflectiveness, but when I first pulled into the Denver service center earlier this week, thought these were the brights.
@MattyJ, any info on quality of either wheel, how grey vs black tend to age, I believe the A/T are the only wheels that are forged so they are both quite strong.Depends on truck color imo
Beautiful truck, but those are not the black A/TThey are pricey at $3500 but I chose them for my Glacier White Explore trim. I just love StormTrooper vibe of the combo.

Nothing other than history with other surfaces. Matte grey will likely hide scratches better. The black chrome might be able to polish out mild scratches but will show more dust etc.@MattyJ, any info on quality of either wheel, how grey vs black tend to age, I believe the A/T are the only wheels that are forged so they are both quite strong.
Great looking wheel.Correct, it was the closest pic I could find.
Here is a pic of the 20” wheel I chose…
LG, ceramic, and dark wheels here look terrific. Like the wheels would go with something different for winter tires. When I saw a picture of Launch Green and the 20” darks just off the line, I was sold except for the extra cost.
