Mine slides around a lot but still ends up on a spot of the charger that charges it after it slides, so big whoop.I ran in to Jay at a local automotive bookstore a few months back and I was in my Rivian. He had just filmed this segment with RJ and was asking me how I liked my truck. Then he wanted to see my phone case and asked if it worked with the wireless charger and complained about how all these wireless chargers don't hold the phones in place. He's the best.
Well, Elon had an excellent conversation w/Jay when they took the CT prototype out for a spin too...great to hear a normal, regular CEO simply talk about his products and the market.
The video touched on it briefly, but I would consider starting a brand new car company from practically nothing a little more than normal!great to hear a normal, regular CEO simply talk about his products and the market.
Saw him and answering question at Rivian's Seattle event in September 2019. That day I felt like he is really likes car, building something for things he likes to do, knows what he is doing, and would care for who is going to drive the cars. I felt like he will be a similar CEO like Yvon Chouinard to Patagonia, or Nick Woodman to GoPro. There are more successful CEOs but not everyone do something to serve their passion than serving their passion for making money. Maybe I'm too impressed. lolgreat to hear a normal, regular CEO simply talk about his products and the market.
They barely talk about the vehicles at all. I think there was "It's very easy to drive" and maybe something about their capabilities.I will watch the video later but does Jay say anything about the ride quality?
I don't think this was mentioned at all, good bad or otherwise .I will watch the video later but does Jay say anything about the ride quality?
We can all hope! That was enjoyable to watch. "A kid born today may never drive a gasoline vehicle..."
I have a 2 year old and I've come to grips with the fact that I'll never teach him how to change the oil on a car. He'll probably be teaching me how to reprogram the throttle response and driving dynamics. We can all hope!
That kid won't get to enjoy the unique pleasure of crawling on your back under a vehicle to change the filthy/hot motor oil, replace rusty exhaust components, spark plugs, snapped V-belts, bad starters and alternators or a worn out clutch. Them poor kids... all the fun they'll miss![]()
