Everything with a blue oval is updated, just need an adapter which hopefully can pull double duty with the R1S until Rivian sends me one.As of this morning, the Ford app and nav have the NACS compatible chargers natively, including live charger status. Plug and Charge OTA for Tesla network also started rolling out today. Ford also has this feature with EA.
I've prepared for thisGood news of the day.
<satire>I’m looking forward to the angry looks from Tesla owners</satire>
Sell your soul to the Charlatan, you must mean!Just have to sell your soul to the devil when you plug in
Tesla started the EV move and innovation. A Thank You would be appropriate.Just have to sell your soul to the devil when you plug in
Yeah I don’t get why this hasn’t been discussed more. At least we have our ports at the end of the car, but still the “wrong” side, so reach won’t be an issue.Scenario:
- You roll up to a full Supercharger station with a line
- You wait in line and take the next spot that opens
- You block the charger without charging since the stall is offset to the right
- Wait for the adjacent stall to open up while people in line start wondering wtf
- Plug in as soon as the car next to you leaves
- A Tesla owner backs into that spot and realizes you are using their charger
- Party time?
Yeah I didn’t know this was a thing either. I’m also a second hand owner, though.“Owner Newsletter”??
Take 94. 90 will most likely get upgraded in the futureNo Tesla chargers opening on the 800 mile stretch of I90 between Billings Mt. and Worthington Mn. -- Grump Grump
I had to go back and look at the verrrrry bottom of the email“Owner Newsletter”??
That’s the question. I think we need not just an adapter but an extension cord as well.Scenario:
- You roll up to a full Supercharger station with a line
- You wait in line and take the next spot that opens
- You block the charger without charging since the stall is offset to the right
- Wait for the adjacent stall to open up while people in line start wondering wtf

It’s been discussed in pretty much every single thread about supercharger access.Yeah I don’t get why this hasn’t been discussed more. At least we have our ports at the end of the car, but still the “wrong” side, so reach won’t be an issue.
Funny I’m not sure there are any EVs with the charging ports in the same spot as Teslas? Our Kia EV6 is the far rear passenger side, so will be the same issue once those are allowed at superchargers.
Fords will be even harder since they’re more in the middle of the drivers fender. I kind of expected their adapters to be more of a dongle to give them extra reach.
