  1. Michelin Defender LTX Platinum

I am running these tires. Happy so far. The Scorpions got really loud at about 18K miles. These are quiet, and I suspect will last longer.
  2. Time For Some New 20" Tires

I have had these tires for a about a week. Very quiet, and may be as efficient or slightly more efficient than the stock AT despite heavier weight. Mostly in town driving 2.32 mi/KwH versus I think 2.28 for the last couple of hundred miles before I swapped (tire shop understandably reset trip...
  3. Time For Some New 20" Tires

That all makes sense. I am going with the Continental HT Terrain Contact in 275/65/R20. I want a quiet, durable, well handling tire that has adequate load and speed rating and don't want to mess with vehicle settings. Do not want all terrain or are too concerned about snow. I am wondering...
  4. Time For Some New 20" Tires

My biggest issue with the Scorpions is the noise. They got loud for me at 18K, now I am at 25K and they are near the end of their tread life. I would love to hear about other peoples experience with different tires as per the original posters request. At this point I am looking for an all...

  9. Nokian 20" All Season Tires (One HT) - Thoughts?

Interesting. I should note that I have an R1T . Not sure if that matters?
  10. Nokian 20" All Season Tires (One HT) - Thoughts?

My Scorpion ATs are very loud and nearing the end of there tread life at 24K miles. Looking for a good all season to replace them. I was wondering if you could give an update on the Nokian HT one's? Still working out well for you? Thanks
  11. New Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 coming soon

Interestingly the 275/65/r20 now appears gone from the tire rack website. Wonder if they are making this size?
  12. New Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 coming soon

I think these will be lighter rather than heavier, for example specs say that 275/65/R20 is 42 pounds versus the 48 for stock all terrain Pirelli's. Not sure about the 22s.
  13. New Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 coming soon

Looks like they are coming out with a 275/65/r20 in the next generation: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Michelin&tireModel=Defender+LTX+M%2FS2&partnum=765HR0DLTX2XL&vehicleSearch=true&fromCompare1=yes&autoMake=Rivian&autoYear=2022&autoModel=R1T&autoModClar=275%2F65-20
  14. Nokian 20" All Season Tires (One HT) - Thoughts?

Agreed! My all terrains got loud at about 18K miles. If I can replace them with AS tires with the same size and gain 5-10% efficiency, quiet ride and meets (exceeds) the load rating, at a lower cost I am happy .
  15. Scorpion AS+ tire swap (from 20" Scorpion AT) - WOW big difference

Thanks! So I am assuming you switched from 21 inch wheels to 20 inch and had 275/60/20 Pirelli AS installed? Awesome. Thinking of doing the same, but curious to see how much luck folks have with getting recalibrated, .I currently have 20 inch wheels. Now I am wishing I had done a five tire...

  18. You need an active guide!

"I have seen from next day to a week for the 8 step process and that has the VIN, so basically at that point your vehicle is ready and as soon as you can finish the steps, you can have delivery in a week, if not earlier. You get 6 days to complete 8 step process" Excellent! Fingers crossed...
