    Snow Donuts (Snownuts)in Drift Mode!

General Grabber 22”s My stock Pirelli Zeros lasted about 12k.. The Generals do way better in the snow. I had to let the slush freeze overnight before I lost enough traction to pull this off smoothly.

Interesting comment about tire tread wear

I wasn’t really sure where to put this video, but figured this is thread is better than any. Love seeing this many Rivians! This was taken at the gaithersberg service center last week. They had my truck for about two weeks and really did a great job! MD rivian service center

Affordable replacement tires for the 22’s -- General Grabber HTS 60

Fair enough. Comparing new Generals to bald Pireli’s is certainly not objective. When I say superior, that is an overall opinion including value, ride quality, and warranty. They are better on cool, wet surfaces. If you prioritize performance and drive in warm dry conditions the Scorpions are...

Affordable replacement tires for the 22’s -- General Grabber HTS 60

no problem! I have at least 4000 miles on them. So far, they have been great, far superior to the OEM Perelli Zeros. They are so much “grippier”. Especially in cooler/wet weather, or on gravel. I have seen no appreciable change in range. “Launching” the truck may be marginally less...

Your time from VIN to Delivery?

No it was not. It was in normal and began its painfully slow journey about 1 week after purchase.

This site is just to sell crap

Subjectively, I noticed very little difference. Perhaps 10% range reduction?

No tax credit for Rivian (effective April 18, 2023)

Probably already answered (I did read thru most of the thread). My wife reserved an R1S about 17 months ago. We did the PBA thing in early August. Picked one off the shop. Its now on a train somewhere, ETA 2 weeks. The 8 steps are done and paid the balance (pending trade in). I insured it just...

Bungee Cords, Straps, Rope, Oh My! (tying down loads in the bed)

I took it out almost immediately . The floor is not flat, little things still crashed around, and bigger objects like a breaker bar or torque wrench didnt fit right. This mod gave me. a flat surface, flexibility to secure any size object, and got back the space that divider thing used up.

Bungee Cords, Straps, Rope, Oh My! (tying down loads in the bed)

Great products I have never seen before! Thank you all for the recommendations! I dont have a spare and tired of everything crashing all around in here. Cut this plywood to size, paint and secure with bolt where the tire was. Nylon straps around the edges to secure cargo. I keep everything...

Any ideas for truck bed fishing rod holder?

After fiddling some more I would avoid standard bungees with metal hooks. Medium duty with plastic fasteners. rubber or velcro straps will be much less likely to ding your truck . These look perfect: https://clutchstraps.com/

Any ideas for truck bed fishing rod holder?

yes sure - closeup of upgraded pvc rod holders. I actually made two. Those rubber moving straps are glued on to provide grip and a bit of separation to protect the truck’s finish .

Any ideas for truck bed fishing rod holder?

this is my flyfishing set up. I used old PVC scrap to make the rod holder (since been upgraded to make it longer). Glued a chopped off old fly rod tube and glued that to PVC to protect the reel. It is fastened to the roof cargo anchors
