I put my reservation in on November 11th, 2025 and I can expect my R2 order invite in December 2026-February 2027. Once I place my order I can expect to take delivery within 4-8 weeks for most configurations. So a 17-23 month wait from the time I placed the reservation (or 10-16 months from...
Itās hard to beat a white vehicle. It reflects the most heat, it shows off the body and lines of the vehicle, and it contrasts nicely with the darker trim.
Thereās also a state tax credit of up to $3,250 for eligible new EVs and plug-in hybrids. Would that be $12,250 off on a new EV?! If so Iām moving to Colorado!!! Ohio, what the hell are we doing here? Get your $#!+ together.
I like the lighter wood, door cards, and headrests. It makes it seem more open. I want it to be more green, like this, rather than the gray-green it is now. Too much gray in everything these days.
I was doing some personal research on how vehicles have become more grayscale over time by taking some pictures of a local mallās parking lot and comparing it to one from the 1980ās (Turns out the dominance of neutral colors started in that decade!)
Anyway, as I was snapping away I noticed...
If I win one of those EV raffles this Summer I would either go with Borealis and Coastal Cloud or Launch Green and Black Crater Signature. I think a dark exterior needs a light interior for contrast and vice versa.
If you can splurge for the R2 Performance it will also have the Compass Yellow...
Man, I would be paying $40 to fill up the tank of my previous 10-gallon Honda Fit if I didnāt have an EV. Thatās crazy! Iām paying half that for public charging and if I could get my home set up going it would be a little more than 1/3.
Great data. As I mentioned before they will absolutely leverage the new R2 tech and battery andvancements and add them to the R1. Imagine a Max Pack three years from now. We might be looking at enhanced battery chemistries, silicon capacitors that boost charging efficiency, etc. I think with the...
As we all know the EPA estimated ranges of EVs do not often translate into actual real world range.
There are so many factors that can impact range including, but not limited to: driving over 70MPH, cold weather, using climate controls, wind, hilly terrain, towing, the air speed velocity of an...
Itās kind of a physics problem. A bigger battery takes up more space and weighs more, so then you have to have a bigger vehicle to fit the pack and carry around said weight. Too heavy of a battery can really alter the driving dynamics as well.
Iām sure theyāll redesign the R1T at some point and...
I have the same problem with my Tesla Model 3. Sometimes Iāll be on a back road and itās displaying 25MPH while I drive by a 50MPH sign. I wonder if itās a cellular connection issue? It has to be pulling speed limit data from somewhere.
On the passenger side! Then people could pull into Tesla Superchargers without having to disconnect and reconnect their trailers!!! It also makes it easier to get access to your trunk if youāre grocery shopping. And finally if curbside charging ever becomes a thing the R2 would be ready to go...
Sounds cool. I had a love/hate relationship with my Plymouth Horizon In large part because I had to share it with my brother. I read recently that it was actually based on the Chrysler Horizon out of Europe, which also went by other brand names like Talbot. Looks like they got some cooler colors...
