Doesn’t seem to be happening. If I can get a Standard down to $500 a month financed with a lease trade-in and some money down then I’m in. If not, I’m not sure what I’ll lease while waiting for the R3. The R3 Standard might not be out until late 2029/early 2030, so I’ve got a while.

Right now the lease offers are terrible for the R2 Performance with Launch Package. I’m hopeful that they’ll improve with the Premium and Standard, but we won’t know until later this year and next year. I think Rivian wants people to buy.

They designed the R1 cross bars years before they even started development on the R2/R3. Hopefully going forward these new ones will work on the R4/R5 and Gen 3 R1. We’ll see…

After watching dozens of video reviews I noticed several people saying the ventilated seats were very strong. That’s good to hear. Does the Premium have ventilated seats as well? I know the Standard does not.

You can’t go wrong with white, especially if you have hot weather and/or have to park outside. It also shows off the lines of the vehicle and contrasts with the darker trim nicely.

Honestly customers should be able to choose any wheel and tire package they want. A lot of designers are obsessed with big wheels/tires. They look cool and fill the wheel well, but they’re harder to find replacements for and are more expensive. If I had a Performance though I’d hate to cover up...

Same. I want my Model 3 to have higher or adjustable regen. It used to but subsequent updates have weakened it.
