R2 Color Choice

I initially was thinking of the Catalina Cove as my color choice for the R2. When I test drove it the way the sun hit it was gorgeous with the flakes in it. I also like the Borealis and wish I could see it in person even though the sample block at the demo center I took outside in the sun and it looked nice as well with the flakes. Whichever I decide I plan on getting the Coastal Cloud interior. I want a fun color and not something boring. From the early deliveries it seems everyone is going with the Catalina Cove color which appears to be the new standard. I think the Borealis will stand out more. I am curious on what color combinations others are going with.

If I win one of those EV raffles this Summer I would either go with Borealis and Coastal Cloud or Launch Green and Black Crater Signature. I think a dark exterior needs a light interior for contrast and vice versa.

If you can splurge for the R2 Performance it will also have the Compass Yellow brake calipers and other accents that are the complementary color to purple. Anyone that I’ve read who got a Borealis R1 loves it. It’s such a unique color.

If I don’t win one of those EV raffles then I’m going to have to lease or finance an R2 Standard in Esker Silver next year.
