Switched my Nov '21 reservation from an S to a T, and was pretty confused by the pricing:
- The Adventure package is now 70k (from 73k?)
- Switching from dual to quad motor costs $1500
- Switching from dual to performance dual motor costs $2500
- Manual tonneau is $800
I think this shakes...
Looks really nice. What color is the interior, FE? Any pics of the damage?
I'm interested, though for the same price I can get a new dual motor max pack due to tax credit + pre price hike pricing. (without goodies!) - will circle back on the thread. GLWS
I'm back on this coinflip. iKamper makes some nice hardshell tents that you can get insulation for, and it's a nicer experience for the summer. Gear tunnel makes it an even sweeter proposition for pulling out the mini-doors to sit on for boots etc. With the R1T charger incentive + it being...
Chiming in on the above - as a zoomer myself I do think that there is a cultural shift. We're slowly entering a post-scarcity economy where our productivity is so high that there really is enough for everyone. The point of life isn't to work - I don't think there should be a cultural requirement...
You can’t even tell it’s an R1S but I was too excited and about to block bike traffic. Blue with the bright ATs - looked fantastic. Trailed by SPD, even ?
If you’re on the forum, congrats and sorry for the harassment!
It's been said a million times but ice is my only concern with this car. I have nightmares about driving back from Whistler this year with freezing rain forming ice on the road. I could see the bus ahead of me drifting laterally (at a dead stop) due to the conditions, can't imagine that...
Yes - they basically said that I would get a chance to see one before my delivery via a First Mile (when i think that a significant portion of owners received delivery before ever seeing one in person..)
I was having this conversation with my girlfriend - it costs me about $7 round trip to go to Crystal Mountain for a day (~160mi) in the model 3. Ends up being about $50+ in her CRV. It's finally time to replace it and plug-in hybrids have pretty insane markups but she definitely opted for the...
I think the tailgate coming down will be fantastic for people (me) putting sleeping platforms in there. Great place to cook etc. Wonder if the camp kitchen will sit there?
