I'm not entirely sure how it's calculated, I assume once you have access to some of the live data from a vehicle it tells you how much battery is addressable to the owner and the current SOE (state of energy) in kWh.
The amount the owner can use changes seemingly based on how much Rivian's BMS...
First off, @Rivian Roamer (Chad) solid work on your side project, much appreciated.
I've been tracking data via ElectriFi since about May 2024 and finally took the time to upload it into RivianRoamer's database. I'm still going through all the different charging sessions and creating locations...
I can tell you all of Canada will be last. Womp womp womp...
Probably for the best. Sort out this Tariff BS so Rivian can actually sell something up here.
We know they did it with the inroduction of the Max Pack to retain the same packaging/form factor while improving the energy density of the cells. This likely filtered to all packs to bring down the supplier cost, and part standardization
I had thought the only chemistry change was with the...
Per Jalopnik, so not incredibly reliable
Two months ago, reporting from German publication, Der Spiegel said the Scouts had been delayed even further due to technical problems with the trucks' development, with production not set to start until summer 2028. CEO Scott Keogh somewhat confirmed...
Ok, I'm gonna buck the trend here and commend the owner for trying to help the sxs, and not being a total knob. Until the end where he comments on his Cybertruck going "crazy high!... Yeah it's in Extract mode"
I guess extract mode isn't for self extraction, it's to make it easier on the tow truck 🤣

Ok, I'm in OP's situation.. my truck falls off the lift while in Rivians care. Someone initially offers me a new vehicle to replace it. No matter who communicated it, I'd be a bit like WTF?! but then very happily go along with it, while also waiting for reality, and the weed they...
Last time I was at the service centre, which has been a bit, so not bad... The employees had a Gen 2 Quad T as a test vehicle and it was caked in mud. I was so proud of them.
I do this anytime I drop it off for service to see when it goes in the building, and comes back out. So I usually know it's ready a couple hours ahead of Rivian calling. Just makes planning it's pickup better.
I remember back in the day when RiDE had SOH and mine was 96% for the longest time.... then just before they removed the tile, it dropped to 95% I've been living on the edge of my seat ever since.
I'm guessing 89% at this point, but I can already hear the uproar on Facebook, Reddit, and the...
Powered Tonneau Cover.
I thought I'd be using it all the time, but because Rivian pulled it from my build, I'm stuck with the manual one (seemingly for life because the wiring harness)
