  1. How's the Bellevue SC Throughput?

West Seattle has at least a few, a ton around the Phinney Ridge/Green Lake surrounding area, and always see some driving around the major highways. Saw one in Duvall just this weekend. I've actually seen two in Tacoma, so I'm sure there's a healthy amount down there as well. I was walking my dog...
  2. How's the Bellevue SC Throughput?

Just trying to gauge where they are with respect to deliveries and throughput. It used to be a powerhouse for Rivian deliveries, but it's been pretty quiet for a while. Last I saw, early to mid 2021 deliveries were consistently getting their trucks (with 1-2 SUVs) this month. If you live in the...
  3. First look at @ “Introducing the R1 Shop” -- Rivian website to shop for R1T that delivers in 6-8 weeks

I love that you called out Audi's Nardo Grey. It was my all-time favorite color on a car until...Rivian's Limestone. I'm more concerned about how it'll fade over time than the fad dying off. 5+ years later, it's still a highly desired color for Audi (up there with Porsche's Chalk Gray). I...
  4. First look at @ “Introducing the R1 Shop” -- Rivian website to shop for R1T that delivers in 6-8 weeks

Shop access for a 12/21 reservation has to be some kind of record. Any chance you could lend me some numbers for the next lottery?
  5. Explore Trim Timing?

With all the inevitable Explore -> Adventure switches, there goes any chance I had to get my Rivian before 2023 ?
  6. Interview with Tony Caravano (Senior Director, Customer Engagement)

Not much being said, but still pretty cool to see the engagement
  7. First look at @ “Introducing the R1 Shop” -- Rivian website to shop for R1T that delivers in 6-8 weeks

I switched to FG/FE. I could maybe live with FG, but I find FE hideous and I'm just hoping for a guide contact (seeing one in person may change my mind). My dream config is LS/BM/20" AT Dark. If a '22 delivery looks unlikely (holding out hope until end of October), I'll probably just switch to...
  8. First look at @ “Introducing the R1 Shop” -- Rivian website to shop for R1T that delivers in 6-8 weeks

Since we already know that 21" wheels (+powered tonneau, no underbody) speed up delivery, I wonder if anyone would be willing to continue the experiment by switching to FE next and seeing if that helps them out. I'd try myself, but my girlfriend hates it enough that we'd reject a truck with FE...
  9. First look at @ “Introducing the R1 Shop” -- Rivian website to shop for R1T that delivers in 6-8 weeks

I'll be in Atlanta for an extended amount of time this year anyway, so I changed my delivery address to my friend's address 12 miles away from the SC. I'll give it a week before switching back. My folks are also in Orlando, so when I visit them, I might give that a try in November.
  10. Change Delivery Location to Get Guide or Truck Sooner?

My concern is that it doesn't necessarily mean they're pushing the same volume now here as they were in the past. Using my (continually plummeting) stock portfolio as inspiration: Past performance does not guarantee future results.
  11. Change Delivery Location to Get Guide or Truck Sooner?

I'm currently in Seattle and have heard ? as far as getting a guide despite having what seems to be a prioritized config. I have very close friends and family in Atlanta, Orlando, and NY and and am wondering if that might help me get my truck or a guide sooner. Just a thought since I noticed a...
  12. Removing Current Restraints gets it built

I wonder if color is a factor for later reservation holders. I personally know a few deliveries in Seattle who preordered around the same time as I did with the same configuration, but with super popular colors like FG and El Cap. I also added a charger, but not sure if that matters. Color is...
  13. Any Update on the Dearth of 20" AT Deliveries?

1/13/22. It's in the signature :). I know others have waited much longer, of course, but several in Seattle with 12/21 preorders have been picking their trucks up. Between wilderness search + rescue and our backpacking trips, our want is slowly turning into a need and I might have to let my...
  14. Any Update on the Dearth of 20" AT Deliveries?

That awkward moment when your thread helped so many pre-order holders get their R1Ts, but CS tells you you're looking at an H2 2023 window ?. Only a little salty, but I'm happy this was overall beneficial to many. If anyone ever happens to meander their R1T over to Seattle, feel free to take...
  15. Any Update on the Dearth of 20" AT Deliveries?

I changed to 21" last week by convincing myself I won't need 20" in the summer for any activities I'd like to do in the PNW. As much as I want the 20" (also I don't know whose child drew up those 21" flower wheels ?), I'm willing to sacrifice for better mileage. Someone in Seattle with a 12/21...
  16. First look at @ “Introducing the R1 Shop” -- Rivian website to shop for R1T that delivers in 6-8 weeks

It's hard to answer this without knowing if they're targeting a certain number of people (or proportion) in the R1 shop. If they're producing more vehicles, then it makes sense to include more reservation holders. What this does change is the perception of time for many R1 shop invitees...
  17. Any Update on the Dearth of 20" AT Deliveries?

Has anyone tried asking their guide for insight? It's definitely true that newer pre-order holders are getting their trucks sooner if they have 21" configured, but I guess the we'd know for sure of a supply constraint if the % of all deliveries favors 21" wheels. Otherwise, I suppose it's...
  18. Any Update on the Dearth of 20" AT Deliveries?

hmm, not saying this isn't possible, but with so many 21" ready to go (recall the 19 days from order -> delivery dude) while there are still '20 and '21 preorder holders with BM + powered tonneau still waiting, it would be pretty messed up if that's the case. Especially considering how much more...
  19. Any Update on the Dearth of 20" AT Deliveries?

I'm wondering if anyone with a guide or inside knowledge can shed some light on when (if ever) we can expect to see more 20" ATs being delivered. At least in the Seattle area, it feels like you get matched with a guide as soon as you switch to 21" road tires (I see about 3-8 Rivians a week...
  20. LIMESTONE R1T Photos

This is definitely one of the better pics I've seen showing the color. When I went to the Bellevue center, I fell in love with the Limestone, but all my pics turned out baby blue (iphone 13 pro max). Also great to see we'll have a limestone here in West Seattle soon. I've seen an El Cap and...
