I tow regularly an open aluminum trailer, 1500lbs. On it a 2800 lbs car. About 300lbs of stuff in the bed. No sway bars. I get about 150 to 162 miles of range, starting with 100% SOC and arriving at 4-6%. Average 60 mph. I apparently your camper does affect the drag quite a bit.
The tailgate piece is not designed smartly. I'm on my second one. Yes, this one is "rubberized" but that actually makes it worse for sliding heavy things down your tailgate. It catches on anything I off load. Rivian was kind enough though to send me the replacement in the mail for self install...
OP, had the same infuriating experience for the last 3 years! I even stopped using PaaK.
Recently, my wife bought me a new phone, and it works amazingly every single time.
The Richmond Service Center has been amazing for me since Tony arrived there.
My upper tailgate plastic trim is broken (brackets). I got SC appointment within a week of the request, then switched to a mobile one. Couldn't make either work, so they are mailing me the trim piece to my house! Love it!
Can more knowledgeable members comment on the new native NACS ioniq 5 charging slower on Tesla networks than EA's with an adapter? Car and Driver or Motortrend just recently reported on that.
Is that gonna be same for Rivian vehicles with native NACS?
Multi-factor authentication will be a giant NO for me. The freaking thing asks me for the key card every time I step out to check on where the receiver ball is to the trailer hitch and it takes like 30 seconds to restart the truck....
Can't speak for other brands but BMW stopped using stamped steel suspension components in their 3 series (their cheapest car) in 1999 with the introduction of the e46...
@UnsungZero_OldTimeAdMan
No rust concerns at all. Just don't particularly care for a premium priced vehicle to have stamped steel control arms and links....
Hmmm, VAG seems to greatly disagree with you, as in over $5 bil greatly
C&D just posted an article about the new M2 CS receiving OTA updates- wow, Sid, Rivian has been doing that monthly for how long now?
I'm still amazed that other EVs have on/off button. It's not intuitive for an EV.
Now on the other hand, don't get me started on PAAK, key card, and waking up. The R1 can never be a get away vehicle- too slow to get in and make ready, and go.
Ha! I'll settle for working lock/unlock function every time I press the button...
If I'm dreaming- would love a much better calibrated throttle response
Yes, all kinds of noises coming from suspension too. Yesterday I went 15 mph in AT mode in a grassy field and it felt like solid metal bushings and completely bottomed out dampers like my track car...
I guess that is not normal...
