It is weird that there is nothing associated with Rivian and this property. In other cities their name is associated with ownership and permits. This makes me question if this is the site or not
My wife basically avoids thinking about money at all. I have to quiz her every 6 months on where our money is so she can get at it if I am hit by a bus.
As a non-car guy, the person I have to talk in to an 80k car purchase is me.
?‍♂️
No clue, the SUPDawg looks pretty cool, I would assume it is easier / better. Maybe he went surfing once before putting them on the car. The pictures could have been taken in the opposite order.
You will probably like the electric vents then. If you never adjust them it is a good system. I would assume it is stored in your profile and returns to that setting for you.
I actually adjust my vents fairly often, but that might be because my wife hates wind on her face, and I run hot, so...
Weird. It’s crazy if you don’t hear anything. My neighbors joke they always know when we leave the house because they can hear us drive by in our spaceship.
If you aren’t moving there is no noise. The volume is different in reverse vs drive and dependent on speed. The noise isolation in the cabin is really good so it is super quiet with the windows up. Roll down your windows, back up, and then drive forward until you hit 20mph and it cuts out.
That is weird I can hear my ID 4 from -100 feet away while I am inside my house. I can tell when my wife is about to pull in the drive way before she is in front of our house.
As far as Navigation goes, I don't care if I have carplay or not IF their nav is as good as google maps and map and POI data updates for free. That is a big IF, but I am happy to wait and see what they do there before being upset about it. In car navigation has a ton of benefits over 3rd party...
With all things it is all about usage patterns. Do you camp 20 days a year in spots where you can park the car right where you want to camp? Does your camping party fit in the tent? (my guess is 3 people don't actually fit in that thing unless it is 3 little kids) If so, it would be awesome...
Tesla used google maps data and built their nav on top of it (pretty sure they still do, but I don't own a Tesla). So this is not accurate. Not to even mention that you can use google maps via apple car play on every car, which is obviously not Android based.
1. CarPlay (or at the bar minimum, maps that update for free and are on par with google maps, apple music integration, voice to text integration)
2. Physical buttons to control temperature and physical controls to position vents
3. Paddle shifters to change regen level (from fully off to max)...
I have the same thought process, FG is my favorite R1S exterior. FE my favorite interior. But I have concerns how they will look together in person. I saw one of the review videos that had that combo and it looked good in the video. One day we will get to see it in person :)
I hold out little hope of being able to turn it off. Pretty sure it is a law that it can't be. Not positive about that, but I read it on another forum and if I read it on the internet it must be true.....
They get that range because of the efficiency. A battery of a given size stores the same amount of energy as a battery from another company at a given size. Energy stored is energy stored. Recharge rates, ability to handle temp ranges, weight, energy density, dimensions etc all are impacted by...
Land Rover sold around 570k vehicles globally in 2019. Subaru sold 700k vehicles just in the US in the same year. Jeep sold over 900k globally in 2019.
The market for adventure vehicle brands is massive. Both at the high end and the low end. I fully expect the R1 to tackle the Land Rover...
