Yeah, there aren't much real life photos of Forest Edge, and only starting to trickle in. The ones I have seen I am also starting to like.

Thanks for posting. Love the wood inlays on Forest Edge, don't love the $2k upgrade cost but at least I would get 1k back since no chance I pair it with Blue exterior...

This is my dilemma these days but not in a rush (unfortunately) to make a decision. I think I am down to one of three color combos for my LE R1T:

Rivian Blue with Ocean Coast
Midnight with Ocean Coast
Midnight with Forest Edge

The Blue seems to be the most popular option based on the reviews posted. With the Ocean Coast I worry about it getting dirty and also black dog hair everywhere...

With the Ocean Coast I worry about it getting dirty and also black dog hair everywhere...

I'd be concerned about color transfer from fabrics, especially denim indigo. Also anything else in the cabin- pens, oily things, stuff I sat in, etc. My previous light leather interior seemed to pick up everything. Hopefully vegan leather does better...

If it's anything like the Vegan leather in the Tesla, then you can expect color transfer. But they seem to be washable and people have gone to the extent of applying clear coat.

This is why I am stuck between choosing Black Mountain and Ocean Coast. And now seeing FE, it is also growing on me.

It is real Ash wood.

I read somewhere that RJ said they spent a lot of time perfecting the process for the wood to get the finish they were looking for.
