Rivian service is scheduling a mobile visit for the first week in December to evaluate and order repair parts. No mention of whether this will be a warranty-covered repair or not but think he would have mentioned if NOT. Will update the group once more is known!

That is a great observation...a tiny ding on the metal below the peeling area. This makes me wonder that whatever was wrong with the door handle that required repair prior to me taking delivery... MAYBE that caused a problem and that also caused the peeling. This very thin layer peeling off...

Actually not that noticable with the door closed, pretty dark there. The photo with my phone has the flash on and much easier to see. It is much more noticeable with the door open.

Great idea...if they fix it, believe me, I will think about putting something between my leg and the door...

Just above the driver side interior door opener, where the outside of your knee touches, the interior has peeled off for an area of 1 by 3 inches. Anyone else had this happen?

Finally got my car tag after parking my R1T for 11 days due to expired temporary tag.

Update...Georgia registration effective yesterday after temp tag expired 8-18-22 due to Rivian shorting by around $230. Rivian finally resubmitted and tag is in the mail since yesterday, so may be able to drive legally in a couple of days! Refused rental vehicle...just want to drive my R1T.

Got same story from my guide. Nothing visible online, so got frustrated and called local DMV. They said they got the info from Rivian, but was $230 short, so they mailed it all back to Rivian the day before I called without trying to contact me...ugh. Would have taken 10 minutes to give them...

ATL SC said my wind noise was normal for a truck. In comparison, my Winnebago View with a Mercedes chassis is silent in comparison, and it is a truck too. Nothing was offered to fix my "non-problem."
